The Zoo in Singapore

Singapore Zoo is one of the world’s most spectacular zoos because of the use of natural barriers such as streams, rock walls and vegetation to separate animals from visitors. And later enhances the open zoo concept. The zoo is a home of 315 species of animal, over 3,600 mammals, birds and reptiles, including rare and endangered species. There is also the large captive colony of orangutans.

We can see endangered species like the Malayan tiger, the white rhino, proboscis monkey, Komodo dragon and the sea lion. We can also witness exciting and educational display of ecosystems and rainforest culture, the Fragile Forest.

My parents enjoyed the "Breakfast with an Orangutan" program, which allow them to meet and interact closely with the orangutans in the zoo. We really enjoy every animal shows, as well as token feedings coupled with live commentaries by keepers.

Mos Burger

I was in Taiwan 8 years ago and I missed this place. There are many restaurants in Taipei serving authentic food, whether it is American, Italian, Greek, French, etc. In fact there are lots of MOS Burgers. It seems more like a Japanese style burger with a rice patty with a slab of grilled meat in the between. Also, I like the taste of the onion. The good thing is that we can actually select drinks among common Asian. And it is open 24-hours too.

Long Lasting Tactical Pants

We all know that 511 Pants always create superior products that enhance the safety, accuracy, speed and performance of law enforcement, military and firefighting professionals. 5.11 Pants that you can buy from WorkBootUSA is known to be built on durability, quality and value. WorkBootUSA always creates innovative gear from head to toe. Indeed, this company has been ranked on the 2007 Inc. 500 — Inc. magazine’s annual ranking, by revenue growth, of privately-held, independent, U.S.-based companies. They were listed among the best companies because they makes products that exceed the needs of their customers with quality and innovative products, as well as exceptional value.

Do you wonder why it is called 5.11 pants! What does it stands for? I have searched what 5.11 pants mean because I want also to understand. These pants were originally developed for rock climbing. As a matter of fact, 5.11 is a rock climbing difficulty level as listed in the Yosemite Decimal System. 5.11 level is even more grueling, as compare with skill levels ranging from 5.0 to 5.10 levels. As an additional information, 5.11 tactical pants are currently the premier cargo pant worn by federal law and police personnel. These pants are particularly worn during trainings and almost all law enforcements are wearing a pair of cargo pants or cargo shorts that are 5.11 tactical pants. These pants are perfect and lovely to wear those especially if they could have cell phone pocket added to the left leg, just like the one on the right leg. The narrow pocket on the right could be perfect to hold a spare of pistol magazine. Furthermore, I also love to see strengthened/reinforced pockets. But I can say that these 5.11 tactical pants are the better than anything else I have seen so far for tactical training.

If you are looking for some 5.11 pants, just visit WorkBootUSA online because they only have the best tactical clothing, uniforms, outerwear, footwear, eyewear, duty knives, tactical gear, holsters and more.

I usually eat this special japanese cuisine called sushi that is a food made of vinegared rice, usually topped with other ingredients including cooked or uncooked fish and vegetables. Sushi is sometimes misunderstood to mean the raw fish by itself, or even any fresh raw-seafood dishes. In Japan, sliced raw fish alone is called sashimi and is distinct from sushi.I eat futomaki, hosomaki, kappamaki, tekkamaki, uramaki, temaki and many more.

Around Akihabara

It was 2003 when I first see Akihabara and I was amazed what I have seen. I saw computers, computer peripherals and latest gadgets all around the corner. Manga, anime, videodiscs, and game software are the million sellers. Hand parts for the do-it-yourself PC builder are readily available. Tools, electrical parts, wires, microsized cameras and more are to be found. Foreign tourists tend to visit the big name shops like Laox, where I bought some watches for my family and friends. Akiba is really famous as an electronics wholesale district. After tough days' shopping, even you are tired, can be certain of one thing: you'll be back!

Interaction With The Whales

Ocean Adventure is really no ther like it in the world! We really have enjoyed our 30- minute interaction with the whales. It was our first time to touch them and swim with them. We have explored about whales' underwater world. And we really appreciate how gentle and playful these mammals are. Of course, we have posed with the whales as captured with our digital camera!

How To Go To Ocean Adventure?

You probably want to know how to go to Ocean Adventure! Next time you visit Philippines, it is nice to visit Ocean Adventure. Here's how:

Ocean Adventure is situated in Subic Bay Freeport Zone, which is known as the former largest US naval base outside the United States. It is about 2 ½ to 3 hour drive north of Manila. The exact location of Ocean Adventure is in Camayan Wharf, West Ilanin Forest Area, Subic Bay Freeport Zone.

If you come from Manila, take exit 65 (San Fernando) from the North Luzon Expressway Proceed straight toward Olongapo City. You must turn right at Layac, Bataan. Turn left on to the TIPO Road Expressway, you must turn left to enter SBMA. Just follow the expressway and turn right on to Rizal avenue. Immediately trun left on to Argonaut Highway at the Rizal Highway junction.

Now, proceed past Subic Bay International Airport and the FedEx Head Office. Turn left at T-junction to Triboa Bay on Corregidor Road and then go straight to Naval magazine security gate. Just continue through Naval Magazine Gate following the Ocean Adventure/Camayan Wharf/Miracle beach road signs. Proceed downhill approximately 5 kilometers to Ocean Adventure!

Our Animals at Ocean Adventure

Last summer I was in Subic Bay Freeport Zone, formerly the largest US naval base outside the United States.

We were in Subic to witness bottlenose dolphins and false killer whales as they give entertainment to many people. We were in Ocean Adventure, which is a unique marine park. Ocean Adventure is Southeast Asia's only open-water marine park that has many fascinating animals, some of the world's most beautiful mammals - dolphins, whales and sea lions in their natural habitat.

We really enjoy all day seeing spectacular display of mammal behavior of these animals staged in open water amidst a beautiful horizon of blue sea and mountain ranges.

I Love San Diego

We all know that San Diego has many tourist attractions, such as SeaWorld San Diego, Belmont amusement park, San Diego Zoo, San Diego Wild Animal Park, and nearby Legoland. I think San Diego is a nice place to live in California.

I have been in San Diego, only as a tourist. I have to San Diego Zoo already. I have tried many San Diego restaurants and tasted the abundance of wood fired California-style pizzas, and Mexican and East Asian cuisine. In the Internet we can see San Diego Rentals, which features economy to luxury accommodations for every vacation and corporate traveler, as well as people who are relocating. And some of the activities San Diego can offer include great shopping, terrific golfing, seaport village, gas lamp quarter, amazing restaurants and many more.

I really love San Diego. As a matter of fact, I want to live in San Diego. I found this great website called Café San Diego, where we can find San Diego's many great eating and drinking establishments. We can also find San Diego beach real estate. The site offers convenient and intuitive way for you to find what you're looking for based on Cuisine Type, Neighborhood, Atmosphere, and Special Features.

Las Vegas: Entertainment Capital of the World

Las Vegas is known as the Entertainment Capital of the World. It is famous for the number of large casino resorts and associated entertainment. I have been to Las Vegas several times already. I really love watching las vegas show. And this year, I will go to see Bette Midler in Vegas live at the Coliseum inside Caesars Palace. My mother is a fan of this Hawaii native Bette Midler, who have been acting, singing, and performing many years ago. She is popular with her oft melodic singing style with some light jokes. Now that she is back my mother never want to miss her and see her perform again. Indeed, we already have bought tickets and got this VIP New Year’s eve experience. We will stay in Augustus Tower Rooms at Caesars Palace for two nights.

Stylish Eyeglasses at ZenniOptical

We all know that today we not wear eyeglasses just for vision correction but as a fashion accessory to enhance your personality. Indeed, there is diverse variety of eyewear ranging from soft designer eyeglass frames to antique and special effects contact lenses, as a good alternative to eyeglasses. We can also see stylish cosmetic sunglasses to protect eyes from the harmful effects of ultra violet rays.

Since we are experiencing economic uncertainty, I have learned to evaluate my spending habits and I have learned to look for a better value for my spending. Now, I only shop at ZenniOptical for my eyeglasses. I have chosen them because they sell affordable yet stylish eyeglasses. I like them because they are a market leader in quality, cost effective prescription eyeglasses that anyone can afford. If you visit their site, you can find stylish prescription glasses from $8. You can find different frames like single vision lens, sunsensor lens, tinted sunglasses lens, bifocal lens and progressive lens. Do you wonder why they sell great eyeglasses at low prices? The reason behind that is they only sell their own manufactured frames direct to the customer. Therefore, they do no use middleman and no advertising budget as well.

Yes, there are several famous places to go ice skating in New York City but I just know Central Park's Wollman Rink will give a good atmosphere to enjoy ice skating. What do you think?

New York Bridge Walks

Walking is a form of exercise. And walking across one of the many bridges that connect Manhattan to the other boroughs and New Jersey is really fun and healthy! When I was a little kid, I never imagine walking across the Brooklyn Bridge. Although the bridge has been constructed for many years now, the bridge is such an engineering masterpiece. At night, the bridge is lit up to highlight the fantastic Gothic structure. When you visit New York, I suggest you to join the thousands of New Yorkers who walk across this historic bridge every day. You can bike too.

Horseback Riding in Central Park, Manhattan

I can see some horses and buggies lined up around the perimeter of the Central Park. I have tried myself to take a relaxing ride, though costly, I have enjoyed a lot. I can say that Central Park really offers a gorgeous backdrop as you get the feeling of what it was like to travel through Manhattan in the 19th century. When you visit New York, try horse and buggy rides! It is fun!

Manhattan Culture

Neighborhood of Chelsea
This place is a popular haven for art because of its galleries and cultural events. It has more than 200 art galleries that are home to modern art from both upcoming and established artists.

Broadway Theatre
It is considered to be the highest professional form of theatre in the United States. It is one of the larger professional theatres with at least 500 seats, almost all in and around Times Square, where plays and musicals usually performed.

Lincoln Center
Lincoln Center is home to one of the world's most prestigious opera houses- the Metropolitan Opera.

For me, Manhattan has the most extensive art collections in the world including the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA), the Whitney Museum of American Art, and the Frank Lloyd Wright-designed Guggenheim Museum.

Manhattan, New York

Did you know that there are over 40 million American and foreign visitors come to New York City every year? I am one of those who become overwhelmed at the sheer amount of things to do and see in a limited time because there are just so many choices. I get the most out of our trip walking in Manhattan.

We all know that Manhattan is considered to be the major commercial, financial, and cultural center of the United States and the world. We can locate most major radio, television, and telecommunications companies, as well as many news, magazine, book, and other media publishers in the United States. We can also find many famous landmarks, tourist attractions, museums, and universities. Indeed, it is the home to the headquarters of the United Nations, the home to the largest number of corporate headquarters in the nation, and the center of New York City and the New York metropolitan region, holding the seat of city government, and the largest fraction of employment, business, and recreational activities.

Ground Zero

The place shown in the photo is where WTC (World Trade Center) is located, before September 11, 2001 when attacked by terrorists. Flight 11 and flight 175 were hijacked and flown into the twin towers.

The term Ground Zero is used to describe the point on the earth's surface where an explosion occurs. It may also refer o the point on the ground directly below an explosion. It describes the site of the World Trade Center in New York City, when it was destroyed by the attacks.

Little Italy: A Tourist Trap?

Well, they say that there is not much of Little Italy in Manhattan anymore. It was more or less a tourist trap and that it was not worth the detour. However, I was still curious to see the place. I still enjoyed shopping from several souvenir shops and dining to the restaurant. For those people who have seen Little Italy before, they were probably disappointed to see how small Little Italy has become. I have heard that most of the Italian families of old have now moved to different residential areas throughout the city.

I had Spaghetti and meatballs a la bolognesa, although it was not the best Italian meal I've ever had. I still say that Little Italy is quite good, not expensive, and the atmosphere of the place turned this into a really pleasant experience!

Little Italy in Manhattan

I captured this photo when I was in New York last month. The place is called Little Italy in Manhattan. It was called Little Italy because it was once occupied by large population of Italians. The place is right on Mulberry Street from Spring Street to Canal Street in Manhattan. I just love these streets because of many New York's best Italian restaurants and cafes.

I was just disappointed I never experienced the ten-day Feast of San Gennaro, usually takes place in Mulberry Street. During this celebration the shrines and relics of this saint are paraded through the streets. Many people will enjoy Italian foods of all types, rides, games, entertainment, and audience-participation singing and dancing.

Statue of Liberty Replicas

Did you know that there are hundreds of other Statues of Liberty erected worldwide? Yes, they exist in Austria, Germany, Italy, Japan, China, Brazil and Vietnam. Shown in the picture below is a replica of Statue of Liberty in Japan.

In 1950 in Columbia, Missouri, boy scouts of America have placed a small replica of the Statue of Liberty. The statue was dedicated as a pledge of everlasting fidelity and loyalty. There is also a statue that is almost entirely white as viewed from US-322 East and West going past the river in the middle of the Susquehanna River near Harrisburg, PA. Aside from that there is also a statue in Paris and several others elsewhere in France. Statue of Liberty replicas are also located in theme parks and resorts like New York-New York Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas.

Statue of Liberty: Liberty Enlightening the World

Last week, I had a 75- minute cruise sails from Pier 83 in Midtown out to Liberty Island for a close-up look at the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island before returning to Pier 83 along the Manhattan Skyline. The guide was fantastic, entertaining, knowledgeable and perfect for the whole family.

The Statue of Liberty is one of the most universal symbols of political freedom and democracy. It is located on 12-acre Liberty Island. It was presented to the United States by the people of France in 1886 that welcome visitors, immigrants, and returning Americans. It commemorates the centennial of the signing of the United States Declaration of Independence. It is also a gesture of friendship from France to the United States.

Looking closely to the statue, you can see that it is a statue of a robed woman holding a torch. The statue is made of a sheeting of pure copper, hung on a framework of steel with the exception of the flame of the torch. It stands 151 ft or 46m atop a rectangular stonework pedestal with a foundation in the shape of an irregular eleven-pointed star.

Australia: A Dream Place

Australia is one of the places I want to live in because of its biggest attraction- its natural beauty. I like its landscape that varies from endless sun- baked horizons to dense tropical rainforest to chilly cold southern beaches. Its cities is scattered along the coasts, which is a blend of a European enthusiasm for an art and food with a laid- back love of sport and the outdoors. I hope to see the opera in Sydney one night and see the Crocodile Dundee.

Pagsanjan Falls

The famous Pagsanjan Falls is located in Brgy. Anglas, Cavinti, Laguna, which is a popular day-trip about 100 km SE of Manila near the town of Santa Cruz. Aside from the view of the falls itself, its main attraction is the raft ride. Skilled raft men will bring tourists aboard bamboo rafts by pulling on ropes laid across the lagoon for only Php70.00. It’s really nice to be at the far end to have a glimpse of another cascade on top of the Main Falls. Slow and meandering with homes and palms crowding the banks covers the lower part of the river. With a rainforest canopy, it does not take long before the river valley turns into a deep gorge and the quiet waters become cascading rapids.

In order to get there, take a ride via the South Luzon Expressway, from Manila. go around the cloverleaf to reach Calamba after you reached Canlubang Exit. Then from Calamba, follow the provincial road passing Los Banos, Bay, Victoria, Pila, Sta. Cruz and finally Pagsanjan. Going to the Pagsanjan Falls is by by boat paddled and pushed upstream by two boatmen.

The Chocolate Hills

Bohol's most famous tourist attraction probably is Chocolate Hills. The hills are an unusual geological formations look like giant mole hills, or as some say, women's breasts, and remind us of the hills in a small child's drawing. The hills are around 1,268 perfectly cone-shaped hills of about the same size, which are spread over an area covered in green grass that turns brown during the dry season. That is actually behind the name- Chocolate Hills. Some people hardly believe that these hills are not a man-made artifact. The hills symbolize the abundance of natural attraction in the province.

In order to get there, from Tagbilaran, you will have to go the integrated bus terminal in Dao and catch a bus going to Carmen. People will point you to the right bus at the entrance of the bus terminal. You have to ask the driver to drop you off at the Chocolate Hills complex, which is about 4 kilometers before the town of Carmen. And from that point it is a 10 minute walk along a road winding up to the complex. Now, how to get back to Tagbilaran? Simply you will have to walk back to the main road, and wait for a bus to pass by. There is also a few buses go to Carmen daily, if you're coming from Tubigon. As soon as you arrive in Carmen, catch the next bus or jeepney in the direction of Bilar, Loay or Tagbilaran, or ask a 'habal-habal' driver to bring you to the Chocolate Hills Complex.

Visit Pagudpud Ilocos

I have been in Pagudpud around 3x times already and I really enjoyed each trip. As a matter of fact a couple of people already asked me to give them travel tips for their upcoming vacation to Pagudpud and Ilocos Norte. Pagudpud is such a nice place for family vacation because of its white-sand beaches and crystal-blue water. Pagudpud is considered to be haven for tourists due to Maira-Ira Point with its secluded beach known as the Blue Lagoon. The place is accessible. Coconut trees line much of the town's coast. Indeed Batanes Islands are visible from Patapat National Park when it is clear day. Also from the town proper is Pasaleng Bay, which offers wide and pristine beaches backed by mountains with breathtaking waterfalls Kabigan and Mabaga, along with the many cool, refreshing springs waiting to be discovered within.

At the Night Safari

I have witnesses a different world at the Night Safari. Upon arrival, I have enjoyed the exhilarating tribal performance by people from the rainforest of Borneo. I was amazed with their dance, blowpipe demonstrations and fire eating displays. After which we have proceed on the Fishing Cat Trail despite the risk of possible dangers, I might catch the cats in action as they eye their prey. Other animals in the trail include the leopard cats, small-clawed otters, Indian Gharials, and the Malayan flying fox. Our adventure continues on Forest Giant’s trail. In here we have witnessed awesome forest giants, of over 100 other native plants with the nocturnal activities of toads, frogs, crickets and other insects. It is really enjoyable; you might even catch some bats, flying lemurs, nightjars, owls, squirrels and tree shrews.

After the adventure we go to the amphitheatre to watch the show of Puma, Barn Owls, and Python, Raccoons and more, showing behavior and incredible abilities of our animals, from predatory to survival skills. The night adventure continues when we are on board with the Tram Journey, and at the Leopard trail to see all the animals in a different light. Our last stop is to buy some souvenirs to remember the entire magical journey.

Sentosa Singapore: All-In- One Island

Before I go to Singapore, I said to myself that I should visit Sentosa, which my friend usually tells about its breathtaking beauty, lush greenery peppered with exciting attractions and activities. And when I got to the place, this popular island resort is really an all- in- one themed attraction, tropical resort, and nature park and heritage center.

Among the attractions I have liked are the two-kilometer long sheltered beach, Fort Siloso, golf courses and the five-star hotels. For me Sentosa is a place of fun sports and activities for the whole family, with its amenities, which is easily within reach. Also, I have enjoyed looking for those friendly peacocks, monkeys and squirrels found everywhere the place. I have met the friendly pink dolphins as well as other exciting ocean life, butterflies and unusual insects such as the man-face bugs, stick insects, giant millipedes, scorpions and rhino beetles at the Underwater World and at the Butterfly Park and Insect Kingdom, respectively.

This Singapore’s fourth largest island really offers variety of attractions, museums and other facilities to provide a variety of experiences, recreation and entertainment to the whole family. The Singapore Zoo

MacRitchie Reservoir, Singapore

Going on a tour with a volunteer guide is the best way to see and learn more about the special forest at MacRitchie Reservoir. It is Singapore's oldest reservoir. During the tour, we were informed that the forest around the reservoir was protected as a water catchments reserve, as well as the forests surrounding the other two reservoirs, Peirce and Seletar.

Through the forest, there are boardwalks skirting the edge and walking trails. Also, we can see signboards along the boardwalks for a self-guided tour along the fringes. Indeed the boardwalk allows for easy exploration of freshwater wildlife. Furthermore, there were also intriguing Ant plant and pitcher plants.

Surprisingly, I was attracted with the 250m aerial free standing suspension bridge spanning Bukit Peirce and Bukit Kalang, which are the two highest points in MacRitchie. This bridge really offers a panoramic view of Upper Peirce Reservoir and the surrounding lush rainforest, by which we can also enjoy the sounds and sights of native birds in the morning.

Pearl's Hill City Park

This park is also called Mount Stamford Hill, which is located in the Central Region of Singapore, was built around a reservoir on top of a hill. There were spice plantations on the hill, sago factories were also situated on the flat ground near the base. At the foot of the hill is the People's Park Complex.

In this park we can experience peace and tranquility away from the hustle and bustle of city life. We can have the chance to climb the hill to enjoy the wooded ambience provided by trees. Furthermore, we can just sit back and relax by the pond, meditating upon the still waters and watching lively fishes. And when in full bloom, the water lilies in the pond provide a splash of color across the entire pond. Relax at the park, which is lit from 7:00 pm to 12:00 am.

Underwater World Singapore

Singapore is only about 655 square kilometers in area; it is one of the most densely populated cities in the world. It maybe small but packs quite a punch!

I think one of the most exciting tropical oceanarium is the Underwater World, in which we are given the chance to admire the amazing sea lives from this part of the world together with endangered underwater animals. With this place, I have the chance to see the different ocean creatures which have captivated me. Good thing is that I do not need to dive into the water and get myself wet.

I believed that the main attraction is DUGONG, which is a sea cow that entertains visitors with its acrobatic movements. Every one of us has the chance to interact with Dugong from series of feeding and training sessions. And I was able to find out its natural abilities of tail-walking synchronization. It is really great to be in Underwater World Singapore.

PayPerPost is For Us

When I heard the word PayPerPost, I hurriedly sought the help of the Internet. I have found out that it is a website that helps us, bloggers, to find advertisers willing to sponsor specific content. When I am ready to take one, I have immediately looked all of the opportunities that advertisers have created and choose one in area of my interest.

Although I am still new here, with payperpost, I have made new friends. Of course, I have learned a lot from them. They share some tips and hints to be a better blogger. Panagbenga Festival

It was five years that I have stayed in Baguio City, the summer capital of the Philippines. Every year I used to witness the month-long annual flower festival called the Panagbenga, which means "season of blooming".

It is being held during the month of February. Panagbenga is like a tribute to the city's flowers. I love to watch the festival floats that are decorated with flowers, the street dancing where dancers are in their flower-inspired costumes.

During this festival, session is in bloom because flowers and related stalls together with side walk cafe's and food outlets are set up along Session Road. There are also musical entertainers performing in selected areas in Session Road. It’s really worth visiting Baguio during this festival.

Jurong Bird Park

What I like in this park is the beautiful Flamingo Lake while we are having feast with their local delights. Jurong Bird Park is one of the great landscaped park tourist attraction in Singapore managed by Widlife Reserves Singapore, with an area of 202,000 square meters.

I was able to catch a glimpse of all 7 species of pelicans including the endangered Dalmatian Pelican. I really enjoyed strolling along the boardwalk and observe lots of birds.

Furthermore, I have watched bird of prey such as eagles, hawks and falcons, who will fly in aerial loops and soar above the treetops. Also, in one corner of the zoo there is a section full of flightless birds such as ostriches, emus, rheas, and cassowaries.

MOS Burger in Taiwan

There are many restaurants in Taipei serving authentic food, whether it is American, Italian, Greek, French, etc. In fact there are lots of MOS Burgers in Taiwan. It seems more like a Japanese style burger with a rice patty with a slab of grilled meat in the between. Also, I like the taste of the onion. The good thing is that we can actually select drinks among common Asian. And it is open 24-hours too.

Like most places in Taiwan, at MOS burger, we eat on the upper floor, overlooking the street. As common for Asians, they also provide a small rack of magazines such as about fashion. Most of the time, local students do homework here. Sometimes they hang out if they are looking for a place that isn't crowded, loud, or expensive.
