Panagbenga Festival

It was five years that I have stayed in Baguio City, the summer capital of the Philippines. Every year I used to witness the month-long annual flower festival called the Panagbenga, which means "season of blooming".

It is being held during the month of February. Panagbenga is like a tribute to the city's flowers. I love to watch the festival floats that are decorated with flowers, the street dancing where dancers are in their flower-inspired costumes.

During this festival, session is in bloom because flowers and related stalls together with side walk cafe's and food outlets are set up along Session Road. There are also musical entertainers performing in selected areas in Session Road. It’s really worth visiting Baguio during this festival.
