San Antonio, Texas

San Antonio, Texas has many historical places to offer and is one of the nation's most popular family vacation spots. If ever I would go to this place, I should not miss:

El Mercado
El Mercado offers a lively atmosphere and colorful merchandise. There is also plenty to look at and enjoy but best of all, you can get some tasty tacos or enchiladas for a great price to complement your new sombrero.

The Alamo
This is San Antonio's prime attraction. History comes to life for kids and adults alike in this fascinating old mission where the epic battle of 1836 took place. We can also stroll the beautiful Alamo gardens, and visit the gift shop.

San Antonio Missions National Historical Park
There is a 12-mile trail that runs through this magnificent park, which leads you past four of San Antonio's less famous, but equally intriguing, missions.
